J.M. Kearns, PhD, is the best-selling author of four non-fiction books and a novel. He teaches at Rowan University.

In 2007, Kearns used his philosopher's brain and his novelist's heart to reinvent the relationship book in
Why Mr Right Can't Find You. It received rave reviews from numerous media including Publisher's Weekly, OK! magazine, and Maclean's, and has been featured by Oprah & Friends, Glamour, Cosmopolitan-UK, Woman's World, and many others.

His four relationship books have brought female readers a perspective that is male, intelligent, funny, and realistic. Straddling the line between witty essay and self-help, they reveal the ways men and women really perceive each other.

J.M. Kearns grew up in Ontario, Canada where he developed a
love for rivers, lakes, butter tarts, books, and dark humor. He lives in Cape May, New Jersey with his spouse Debra.

J.M.'s novel
The Deep End was published in the United States in 2014.
